On Saturday Ember hosted a hardy band of bowlers who braved the cold to come down to the clubhouse to listen to music, eat, drink and have a good chat to see what everybody had been up to during the closed season. A great night!
Thanks especially to the members who cooked, organised, manned the bar, washed up, dished out the food and drove out to the takeaway for a lovely Indian curry!

The whole family can take part in this easy walk with a Murder Mystery theme. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in November. Come along to the clubhouse for soup and crusty bread to fortify you before you set off. The circular walk will have you looking for clues in the places you visit, which will lead you to the identity of the Ember Sports Club murderer!
When you get back you can reward yourselves with tea and cakes. There will be prizes for all the successful sleuths. Bring friends and family – the more the merrier.
A great afternoon to round off the Racal Decca League at Ember Sports Club. Click on any of the images to see a larger version.
